Presentation

The game goal is to free the prisonner by forcing a way through the bircks.
The ball should never fall.
The game is over if you lose 3 balls.
You win if the prisonner fins a way out in all levels.
To break walls you should touch it with the ball or use one of the goodies.
Goodies fall sometimes when breaking white bricks.
Some bricks are not easely destroyed. You juste have to shoot them again and again because all brick are detructible.
The level is passed if the prisonner leaves the game window.

There is also a level editer:
When started, it tells you to load an existing level. Choose no if you want to begin a new level. To load a level, it must be placed in the same directory as the game exec and its name must be 'level.lvl'.
To save the level, press F6.
To reload a level (level.lvl), press F7.
To drop the prisonner, press the right mouse button.
To drop a brick, press the left mouse button.
To modify a white brick goody, press a numbre key (1,2,3 or 4).

Have a nice moment playing Bricks.

Controls

Right arrow : move rigth, idem with left arrow.
Space bar : launch ball or goody.
P : pause

Running platform

Should run in all platforms supporting Win32 applications with installed OpenGL drivers.

Tools used

This is a Win32 application, programmed with Windows SDK. Graphics are drawn using  OpenGL and sound using DirectSound.
3D Studio Max was used for modelling purpose.
